myHR Systems Analyst

Description:
The IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for support of client Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service initiatives.

Many of these responsibilities, especially in the areas of Requirements Analysis, Technical
Specifications and Process Improvement, require that the Analyst have face-to-face meetings with the Client, Functional Experts, and/or Subject Matter Experts. Therefore, strong facilitation, interpersonal and customer skills are needed to interact with client management groups as well as the ability to apply analysis, definition, and documentation for business, system and data processes. This person will be a technical lead during customer Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service implementations.

Responsibilities
Technical Lead throughout project lifecycle
Gather/Document Business Requirements and Functional/Detail Requirements.
Function as a Liaison between Functional and Technical people when necessary.
Document Technical Specifications.
Analyze/Document existing processes.
Document New Processes and Identify/Propose Process Improvements.
Provide problem analysis and resolution to technical issues.
Assist with project planning.
Develop feasibility, business case studies, and estimates.
Oversight of functional and end user testing.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in MIS, Computer sciences or business, or equivalent professional level work experience

4+ years with HR/Payroll/Benfits systems
DBMS Experience (PeopleSoft is preferred)
Proficient in SQL
Languages: HTML, Java, JSP, XML (a plus)
Web: Tomcat, Apache, WebSphere (a plus)
Experience with SAP, PeopleSoft or Oracle HRMS preferred
Strong understanding of TBA SDLC Process

Requirements
Applicants for this position should have an understanding of business processes around ESS/MSS or an overall HR systems background

The ability to engage virtual teams on complex issues is a MUST.
The ideal candidate will have experience with high levels of accountability, and will have demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to manage workload and achieve results with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and oral communication, with an ability to communicate with all levels of management, employees and customers.
Candidates should have participated in at least one significant HRMS implementation or upgrade or have significant ongoing HRMS support experience with robust self service in place.
