2nd Shift Supervisor - Memphis

Responsibilities include managing  a workforce of approximately of 20 distribution associates (i.e. hiring, training, counseling, developing, etc.).  You will be assisting in both the inbound and outbound functions, managing and establishing  workflow, process improvements and SOP?s from point of receipt to shipment of product.Establish measurements and research processes to continually improve quality and productivity. Establishment of goals and plan projects with timelines of 30 to 90 days.  Interact daily with vendors and with carriers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. Maintain a clean and safe environment to include compliance with OSHA and company safety guidelines. Conduct meetings, produce communications and fact based outcomes.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong planning and organizational skills are required.

Basic computer skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills.

3-5 years warehouse experience in a fast paced environment.

Leadership and supervisory experience required.

 

EDUCATION:

A Bachelors degree is preferred but not required.
