Location:    Miami, Florida

 

Our client is a $2+ Billion OTC Pharmaceutical Division of a Multinational Drug and Consumer Products company.

 

Our client is one of the fastest growing global pharmaceutical companies and is poised to expand market share in the coming years. They continue to rapidly grow the consumer health business as well the global pharmaceutical business.


Our client launched 13 new medicines in the US since 2000 and even more globally. Their rich pipeline, with a total of 75 compounds and 52 projects in advanced development or registration, was rated as one of the industry?s strongest by financial analysts.

 

Globally the Consumer Health division continues to significantly grow with a major acquisition in 2005 and several new product introductions.

 

Position Purpose:

 

? Manage and lead the regional development processes for assigned projects to launch in key countries

? Make recommendations to top management to fulfill the strategic objectives of the Development Portfolio of the region

 

Key Responsibilities:

? Identifies, develops and recommends innovative technology commercialization paths to Region management

? Together with the Region, provide strategic focus across projects within category

? Consolidate category portfolio strategy and category development strategy in conjunction with other key departments e.g. Business Units / Global Brand Teams / Regional Marketing / Markets.  Represent through BFI at SRC / GPDB.

? Facilitate communication among project teams within and across category

? Build pipeline, implement PD&C process for Global, Regional, Local initiatives

? Develop regulatory strategies pertaining to specific projects, including Rx-to-OTC switches and new product acquisitions / BD&L opportunities and strategy

? Manages and recommends commercialization paths to technology managers or scientists, oversees progress / project to fruition

? Develops ?best in class? regional commercialization strategies / timing as it relates to competitive intelligence and market entry

? Fill the Matrix / Fill the Gap developments across Strategic 7 / Regional Brands

? Leads and manages technology projects to the necessary commercialization outcomes

? Consolidate evaluation of in(out)-licensing candidates to assess strategic fit

Experience:

? 5+ years experience (at least 2 years relevant experience, i.e. project manager or product manager) in a Pharmaceutical or Consumer Health Business

? Work in international and multidisciplinary environment

? Global Rx/OTC development experience
