Associate National Account Manager
Position Title: Associate National Account Manager
Position Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Reports To: Director of Sales ? Home Depot
Position Summary:Manage Home Depot to deliver or exceed the national Home Depot sales plan within assigned Annual expense budget.
? To increase sales, distribution and shelf space of products by co-managing the Home Depot Store Support Center Merchandising department
? Manage the Home Depot Store Support Center business relative to retail price audits/regional pricing recommendations, managing the 531 Home Depot reports/system maintenance, host order buys, national promotion buys, category management report requests, etc
? Co-communicate project requests and follow up info necessary for the Home Depot Sales team to successfully execute all store/divisional level requirements through the Director of Sales Home Depot.
? Regularly work with Home Depot Senior NAE?s to ensure that programs and project requests that require execution at the Home Depot get accomplished to meet the customer?s expectations.
Candidate Profile:
? proven results in supporting product category growth in the consumer durables/industrial market (3 yrs + exp)Strong sales/analytical experience within the consumer durables market ? i.e sku analysis / trends / planning
? solid track record in supporting channel / product research efforts supporting key channel programmingsolid experience tied to supporting Promotional planning / Packaging ? Merchandising efforts
? strong leadership skills / ability to influence functions in a matrix organization ? strong cross-functional support past
? high level of goal orientation / aggressive stretch minded approach
? strong communication skills / presentation skills / leadership skills
? demonstrated strength in business management
? successful experience in a competitive / ?highly accountable? based culture
? proven experience in supporting the sales process
? willingness to drive the business at both the strategic and tactical level /
? Bachelor?s degree ? Marketing or related field / MBA a plus
