Brand Business Manager Jack Daniels

 Participate in the development of the strategic national brand plans. Leads the implementation of divisional brand plans throughout the organization consistent with the national brand strategies. Drives the process down from the National brand team. Lead the development, localization, implementation, execution and evaluation of divisional brand and business plans to maximize growth, profitability and brand equity consistent with national brand strategy. This includes collaboration with national and regional chain managers and trade marketing. Will direct and manage merchandising and pricing strategy across the division (includes size mix, bend, inventory) and ensure consistency of planning and evaluating territory marketing funds and other field based investments.Works to encompass strategic brand leadership, resource allocation and brand equity. Acts as a brand champion. Collaborates with multiple internal contacts to develop and execute effective brand building plans for the division. Ability to integrate information from both the brand and the region and make appropriate decisions regarding the most effective use of both people and financial resources. Serve as the primary collection point for generating consumer and competitive intelligence at the divisional level and cascade down the organization and communicate back to the brand. Leader for the division at national Brand strategy & ideation meetings. Will ensure development of and consistency of market brand managers and assure regional activities align with the brand plan. Jointly accountable for the delivery of the Jack Daniel?s Family of Brands business results in the assigned division. Champion to the field for the brands and champion to the brands for the field. Balances needs and opportunities of both Brand and Division. Drives ?Back to Basics? type execution ? leads the development and evaluation of local Brand/Channel plans and merchandising/promotional standards.

Takes actions and directs the actions of others towards the accomplishment of primary tasks in multi-step projects in order to meet stated goal dates and deadlines.  Strategic thinking: Initiates, guides and participates in the establishment and articulation of a long-term strategy including a plan for allocation of staff time and resources. Informs brand leadership on consumer insights and changes in demographics for assigned regions / states. Motivated by adding value: The ability to operate with a high level of energy on outcomes. Must have requirements:Bachelor?s Degree with Marketing major preferred, plus 5-7 years sales and marketing experience or field marketing experience within the beverage or CPG industry.Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.PC proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Demonstrated ability to create, control, and maintain financial and/or business analyses, including budgets.Must have valid state ID; Physical ability to lift 60 pounds.Excellent strategic and tactical skills; demonstrated ability to implement and adapt national programs to the field.Willingness to travel 50-70%Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all members of extended brand teams.Sound financial skills: Experience in building and managing a budget.
