Job Summary

This individual must be able to optimize short and long term volume and profit performance of one or more of the company?s key brands.

?Strong strategic skills to be able to drive short and long term brand growth and profitability
?Utilize quantitative, qualitative and syndicated research to develop new product concepts
?Drive new product development and manage day-to-day business by building consensus throughout the organization
?Excellent written and oral communication skills
?Excellent presenter, with a strong and inspirational presence in front of sales force and customers
?Able to train subordinates to allow them to achieve full potential
?Exhibit strong leadership skills within the marketing department and to the company as a whole
?Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint or equivalent programs

Education and Experience Profile

?MBA Preferred, but not required
?4-6 years of packaged goods brand management experience with a record of increasing responsibility and has been promoted to Brand Manager
?Has led new product development process from concept inception through market introduction
?1+ years of profit and loss responsibility, including managing brand expense budget
?Has developed and executed annual marketing plans, including advertising, media and consumer promotion planning
?Has developed new and existing item pricing strategies
?Has utilized and analyzed syndicated research data (e.g. IRI or Nielsen). Has conducted primary marketing research (qualitative and quantitative)
?Has developed and participated in key account sales presentations and has demonstrated strengths in working closely with sales department
?Has managed and trained at least 1 entry level marketing individual
