We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and results oriented Category Manager with analytical experience, great negotiation skills, and strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have product development experience in HBC or pharmaceutical industries.

 

As the Category Manager for Novelty Inc. you will be responsible for:

 Managing multiple projects/priorities concurrently while meeting deadlinesNegotiating pricing and vendor programsResearching trends and finding new items for your categoriesAnalysis of product costs and product sales and profitsDevelopment of creative sales plansCommunicating with vendors to handle all issues affecting timeliness of product shipments and delivery

 

Required Experience:

 Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in related fieldThree to five years experience negotiation or buying Fluent knowledge and user of Microsoft programsCreative problem solving and strategic thinking skillsManaging a high volume of projects and collaborating with team membersDetail orientation with strong organizational skillsCommunication and relationship building
