Category Manager

This new position is responsible for leading the corporate category management strategic initiative by developing long-term internal and external relationships by providing objective insight the drives growth for Turtle Wax and our retail partners.  Duties include:

 

1.  Lead category management efforts within assigned categories focused on mass merchandisers and automotive retail channels.

2.  Support fact based selling in order to drive sales growth and profitability

3.  To build and maintain long term relationships with our customers through objective insight development and presentation.

4.  Support internal and external sales teams by delivering capabilities on product and category reviews to data insights and reviews.

5.  Conduct detailed analysis and reporting, utilizing the appropriate informational resources.

6.  Lead and/or develop modular opportunities including the development of regional/store specific plan-o-grams.

7.  Maintain frequent, clear and open communication within and among functional teams regarding projects, insights and/or company issues.

8.  Maintenance of image, product and plan-o-gram library.

9.  Identify and address category risks and opportunities with sales/marketing.

 

Experience requirements:Bachelor?s degree in Marketing or Finance; Master?s degree is a plus 3-5 years customer marketing experience 3-5 years category management required Experience with syndicated data (IRI, NPD, Space Man, Intactix)
