Corporate Project Manager (125037-514)

The Corporate Project Manager will be responsible for leading teams of up to 30 professionals to accomplish the goals and objectives of several key projects simultaneously. Is a clear team builder and motivator and has the ability to build strong internal and client relationships. Highly skilled in conflict resolution and problem solving. Projects will be initiated from the CompuCredit Executives, Business Units, the Development department and/or IT. Projects types may vary greatly and will range in durations and complexity.

The CPM will be expected to go through the standard phases of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing, while using CompuCredit?s Project Management Methodology. The role will include improvements to this methodology and interfacing with Technical Project Managers to ensure a fully integrated process/product. The CPM will be the lead on each assigned project, but will be given direction and assistance, as needed.

The CPM will become a business content expert aligning with each Project Sponsor to understand market dynamics, the competitive landscape and key alliances and partners. In this entirely customer-facing role, you will help customers to define and implement integrated solutions that optimize technology to support and grow their business.

? Lead project initiation and planning efforts
? Define and manage resources, project plans, scope, issues, risks and manage multiple projects within the organization
? Monitors project milestones, technical status, and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule; identifies ways to resolve schedule issues
? Work directly with the Sponsor to coordinate pertinent aspects of the project
? Coordinate and facilitate team/status meetings
? Manage and facilitate risk management, change management and issues resolution process, including escalation to the appropriate level in a timely manner
? Create open environment conducive to sharing information and ideas to the knowledge pool
? Lead a team that provides internal customers with a superior level of service and satisfaction, as measured by satisfaction surveys

COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS:
? Ability to lead a project team comprised of technical and business resources
? Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
? Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
? Ability to manage multiple vendors and contractors
? Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem solver
? Ability to establish rapport and network within the corporation
? Ability to hold project team members accountable within a matrix organization

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience
? Demonstrated knowledge with Microsoft Project, project management methodology and development lifecycle
? Track record of successfully delivering enterprise projects

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
? PMP certification is a plus

EXPERIENCE:
? Minimum two (2) years Project Team Lead and/or Project Coordinator experience
? Financial services and or credit card experience a plus
? Minimum three (3) years project experience, with familiarity in at least three (3) of the following core areas:
o Finance / Credit Card / Banking
o Call Centers
o Information Technology
o Software Development
o Quality Assurance Processes and tools
