Customer Service Manager Philadelphia/Cherry Hill, NJ

SPHERION, in partnership with Schwan?s Home Service, Inc., a well-established frozen food delivery company, is hiring Customer Service Managers to sell a variety of frozen foods to new and existing customers throughout the Philadelphia, PA and Camden/Cherry Hill, NJarea.  The position also entails building new customer relationships and operating a commercial motor vehicle. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Sells and delivers frozen food and other company products to customer?s homes or places of business.  Completes all assigned route and building days according to schedule determined by manager.  Follows guidelines including but not limited to; displaying products, calling on all customers, following up on missed/not at home customers, professional demeanor and good hygiene.

 

Seeks out and establishes new customers for the route system in the the Philadelphia, PA and Camden/Cherry Hill, NJarea.  Makes sales presentations to prospective customers.  Informs customers of new products, promotional products and any special services.

 

Conducts daily safety inspections and safe operation of the commercial motor vehicle, as required by regulation and company policy, Federal Stamp Program, company policies and Federal DOT compliance; compliance to state and federal traffic laws required.

 

Files daily sales reports via computer and completes all paperwork, and hand-held computer preparation for the next day in accordance with corporate procedures.  Accounts for and turns in all forms of payment collected each working day at the designated depository in accordance with corporate procedures.

 

 

Qualifications:

Education:  High school or equivalent.

 

Years of Related Experience:  One or more years of related work experience.

 

Must have clean driving record.

 

Must have the ability to:
Effectively operate a commercial vehicle.   
Effectively operate a hand held computer.
Learn and successfully communicate product information. 
Accurately manage cash on a daily basis. 
Successfully communicate with existing and potential customer. 
Successfully sell products. 

 

Must meet the Federal Department of Transportation eligibility requirements, including appropriate driver?s license and corresponding medical certification as a condition of employment for this position. 

 

 

Company Offers:

Flex Route - One employee works from 7:00 am ? 4:00 pm, the other employee joins him or her at 11:00 am and works until 8:00pm.  May require switching shifts with partner during the week. 

Commission position with a GREAT earning potential of 40K ? 50K first year.
