Data Base Marketing Manager

Space Adventures, the world?s premier space travel company is seeking a dependable, organized and adventure-minded, DATABASE MARKETING MANAGER with a passion for spaceflight. Space Adventures in rapidly expanding the frontier of space travel, events, and entertainment. Our out-of-this-world adventures include zero-gravity flights, high-altitude, supersonic jet flights, spaceflight training, and actual flights into space.

 

Job purpose:

To develop and manage a marketing database for use by Space Adventures in accordance with strategic goals.  This will involve establishing data mining, cleaning and management processes to ensure accurate data is available for marketing communications usage. 

 

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their database marketing credentials, and to step up and take ownership of a marketing database.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1.  Develop and manage a database in Microsoft CRM

2.  Develop data mining techniques to identify individuals with a potential interest in, an ability to afford, space travel.

3.  Use database marketing expertise to generate targeted customer and prospect lists for direct marketing campaigns.

4.  Publish daily, weekly, and monthly reports on marketing metrics.

5.  Manage marketing data from both internal and external sources.Skills Required:1-2 years of marketing database design and usageExperience with Microsoft CRM and Siebel databases a plusAbility to accumulate, manipulate and interpret data for reporting purposes.
