Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Director of Sales Development is responsible for collecting all net shipment information and reporting on a daily to weekly basis in order to meet monthly net shipment estimates. Develop and distribute retail sales and net shipments plans to field force. Oversee allocation development and administration to ensure all launch, sample, tester and collateral allocations are issued in a timely manner. Manage relationships with Retail partners and Field Sales team including Regional Managers, Account Executives, and Store Managers. Department is also responsible for account maintenance, price increase notification, order form maintenance and communication to field pertaining to all new and seasonal product information.

Designated responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Plan, monitor and communicate retail and net sales regionally and corporately, sell in vs. sell thru reports, and market share recaps. Provide variance analysis for actual vs. plan.
- Weekly status meetings with Marketing to anticipate any upcoming business challenges, needs, etc.
- Administer and monitor demonstration system including account bonus programs.
- Liaison between Marketing, Customer Service and the Field Force on all seasonal promotions and any changes which may occur during the season. Determine priority ship lists for promotions.
- Oversee the allocation of permanent and seasonal on-counter displays, testers, samples, and gift sets.
- Oversee the set-up of all order forms and coordinate the downloading and deleting of these forms.
- Coordinate the production and publication of seasonal binder and monthly communication to Field.
- Oversee account maintenance which includes publishing new account openings, account closings, and territory realignments.
- Daily contact with Field Force, Marketing and Customer Service on trouble shooting issues they encounter relating to orders and allocations.
- Lead monthly field conference call with Sales Field and Marketing.
- Work with VP, Sales on annual bonus calculations and communication to the field.

- Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 5-7 years Sales Development experience in a management role.
- Strong computer proficiency on Excel, Word, Access and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with the proven ability to multitask many priorities.
- Must have effective decision making and leadership skills.
