Director of Test

Global, growing California company seeks world-class Director of Engineering, for Test segment. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

? Based on performance specification, to develop effective test architecture/methodology for verification and qualification of system and subsystem

? Manage a global test engineering group to develop volume production test solution to achieve time to market, lower total cost of ownership and high production yield

? Work with customers, design engineering team to develop and implement module level characterization and qualification test capabilities

? Work with factories and Asian based vendors on implementing test solution, providing on going support of current production and driving continuous improvement of test solutions

 

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering or other engineering disciplines is a minimum.  Advanced degree is a plusKnowledge of imaging optics and imaging testing/verification is a plus Minimum 5-10 years of experience as hardware and system level test development for high volume productionProven track of record in developing test architecture which will result in effective volume production test solution and lower total test cost of ownership.Ability and experience in managing an effective global test organization for test development, volume production implementation and continuous improvement with customers, design centers and manufacturing in different geographical locations Demonstrated ability to drive the reduction in test time, reduction in total test cost of ownership and improvement in test accuracy and repeatability
