District Manager

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic professional to join the sales team of this global organization.  

Job Summary:  

Position is responsible fore the planning, organizing and managing of sales programs through a designated wholesaler.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

? Develop and monitor promotional incentives at on and off-premise locations to increase sales, distribution, displays, feature ads.

? Provide wholesalers with direction to help achieve their sales and distribution objectives. 

? Work with and direct wholesaler field personnel to drive sales volume on and off premise.

? Participate in developing brand pricing in accordance with company/brand strategies. 

? Manage district profit/volume goals, T&E budgets and field marketing budgets.

? Supervise field sales staff. Review Account Standard Reviews for top accounts  monthly and work to assist direct reports in achieving objectives.

? Present to Sr. Management and key wholesalers Annual Business Plan and gain buy-in for sales execution.

? Achieve wholesaler brand investment commitment (in dollars) as agreed to on Annual Business Plans.

? Conduct sales meetings with wholesaler networks to provide for proper inventory levels, co-op commitments, resolve outstanding issues and evaluate market position.

? Interacts with marketing and outside support agencies to ensure support materials are received to accomplish district goals.

?  Implement effective Wholesaler management skills to drive high-level execution and share of mind on market initiatives and brand awareness in what is a challenging Wholesaler network.

?  Implement effective acquired business acumen to identify and communicate sales and brand development opportunities as well as providing directional feedback through productive Wholesaler management practices.  

 

Qualifications/Experience:

Outstanding sales skills and 3-5 years sales experience. Good motivational skills, budget development/management skills, knowledge of company policies and state and federal laws, ability to develop sound relationships with key wholesalers and retailers, strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.  College degree preferred.
