The Duracell Equipment Engineering Group is responsible for the design, build and implementation of all Duracell manufacturing equipment worldwide. We collaboratively work with product design, program management, and manufacturing groups not only within Duracell, but throughout the Gillette Global Technical and Manufacturing Network.





 


Qualifications


Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas of mechanical design:


Design of automated equipment for high-speed assembly

Part feeding, loading and conveyance

Computer Aided Design, drafting and design documentation

Application of tolerances, material selection and other design standards to ensure manufacturability and robust machine performance


 


Candidates must in addition have experience in the following areas:


Developing scope of work, specifications and technical project plans for equipment projects

Directing vendors and outside contractors during the design, build and installation of capital projects

Effectively leading other engineers and designers on a project basis



Requirements:


All candidates must meet the following requirements:



BS degree in Mechanical Engineering

Ten or more years experience related to equipment design and implementation

Ability to effectively communicate ideas and technical information

Desire to work in a dynamic team environment

Willingness to travel (domestically and internationally) up to 40%
