DISTRIBUTOR / IN HOUSE ACCOUNT MANAGER

TITLE: Regional Account Manager

REPORTS TO: Regional Sales Manager

 

Job summary

Manages local distributors and in-house accounts, and controls their handling of ?Kare? cards

 

Summary of essential job functions

Distributor Liaison, duties include:

? Sells ?Kare? cards to local distributors

? Delivers ?Kare? cards to distributor locations

? Meets with distributor representatives on a monthly basis either with RSM present or reports back to RSM results of meeting

? Controls distribution area and cards sold

? Keeps current listings of all stores distributor services

? Negotiates with distributor for ?Kare? stores that need to be moved to distributor for service

In-house Account Manager, duties include:

? Sells cards to in-house accounts, which include customers with multiple locations purchasing at a central location; customers with multiple locations, serviced separately, but need regional central billing.

General Related Responsibilities:

? Checks locations that distributor services or in-house accounts? satellite locations for current POS, etc. and makes sure all POS is current and in excellent condition

? Checks with location owners / manager to ensure proper servicing of accounts, i.e., no OOS?s, etc.

? Checks stores for planogram and merchandising adherence

? Maintains store surveys and sales history for each account

? Meets on a weekly basis with RSM and OOC

? Weekly Report generated for RSM

 

Minimum requirements

? College Degree preferred ? Business Administration courses

? Strong marketing / management background

? Displays strong personal and business ethics and moral character

? Understands and remains steadfast to ?Kare? core values

 

Other Job Requirements

? Ability to aid RSM in Operations responsibilities, as needed, where no Operations Coordinator is present

? Ability to run vacation routes (thoroughly trained as an FSA)

? Ability to assist in marketing and promotional programs

? Ability to train new FSA?s

? Thoroughly understands pda operations and Kare Policies
