Key Account Manager

Leading, award-winning, growing crafts and stationery company is looking for the right Key Account Manager to be the dedicated point-person for one of its major retailers. High-visibility account, reporting directly into the Vice President of Sales. Exciting responsibilities on the job:


- Convenience of working out of one's own home


- Oversight of two direct reports


- Planograms, product promotion, pricing, and positioning in addition to standard sales responsibilities


- Being the expert on a major retailer for a category-leading company.


 


The right person has:


- 10+ years in sales


- 3-5 of those years calling on national account(s) at the headquarter level


- Proven experience of dedicated responsibility to one account in the MM sales range---if more than one account handled simultaneously, you will need to convince how that is possible


- Planograms, product promotion, pricing and positioning in addition to standard sales responsibilities


- Willingness to be fully dedicated to one account and all of its demands: nurturing it, growing it, and owning it


- Similar product line preferred: stationery, stickers, memory-keeping (scrapbooks, photo albums), crafts


- Independent, loyal, energetic professional.
