We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Service Manager at our headquarters in White Plains, NY.

 

The primary purpose of this position is to act as a liaison between our manufacturing and marketing/sales teams, to review and recommend new product launches and other projects fin terms of manufacturing feasibility, timing and available capacity.

 

Major responsibilities will include:

 Coordinate all manufacturing projects including any scope changes, contingency and issue escalationInterface with marketing brand managers for both new and existing product development packaging  and formulation changesInterface with R&D and Supply Chain Planning for proper flow of communication and transition of responsibility to plants for new product launchesMaintain manufacturing data such as Operations Efficiency and Operations Utilization by plant to track and update capacity and performanceResolution of day-to-day production scheduling issues and recommendation of optimum production and batch size to maximize capacity and minimize lossesBenchmark current process for project management  and recommend improvement in tracking, reporting and prioritization

 

TO QUALIFY, the following are required:

 

BS degree, Engineering (Industrial Engineering degree preferred) Minimum of 6 years experience (including production floor experience) at consumer product goods company Strong project management skills Cross functional team environment experience Understanding of business finance, brand P&L Excellent computer skills essential
