Managing the Southwest Geography, working out of our Yorba Linda Office:
o Develop tactical business plans to deliver market budgets and business initiatives for geography. Business plans will involve assigned direct customers, broker-managed customers and other Customer Development customers trading within the Market.
o Under the direction of the regional office, work with the market team and broker to optimize retail execution supporting key business initiatives and objectives.
o Advise Regional Customer Development leadership on the status of initiatives, competitive intelligence and relevant market/customer insights.
o Audit market research, management and market information to identify sales issues/opportunities and surface action plans to address gaps with Regional leadership.
o Provide leadership to ensure that Kimberly-Clark attracts, develops and retains the best people and fosters and environment which motivates a diverse team to fully use its capabilities in achieving desired business results.
o Utilize the Performance Management process to motivate team members to continually improve performance and leadership skills.
Qualifications:
o A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
o Experience in Consumer Products Goods environment is strongly preferred.
o Extensive business knowledge and proficiency in leadership skills typically developed through at least five years of progressively more responsible Customer Development management experience or the equivalent in another business function.
o Knowledge of class of trade; products and categories; sales and marketing procedures; human resource and financial policies and procedures required.
o Ability to develop and interpret market business and financial analysis supporting the execution of Regional business.
o Effective command of leadership qualities, and ability to apply those qualities toward leading, motivating, and developing the team to achieve optimal results.
