Outbound Coordinator

 

 The Outbound Coordinator is directly responsible for allocating and scheduling: order picking, labeling and the on time and accurate shipments to our Customers. This position will report to the Distribution Manager. 

 

Job Knowledge:

 Comprehensive understanding of computers, (Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, and QADl ) spreadsheet applications required. Experience with Inbound / Outbound documentation and procedures ( BOL?s, receivers)Desired experience : Routing and shipping guidelines / requirements with major Domestic  retail Customers.MFG /PKMS experience a definitive plus.Experience with Fed X, LTL and FTL.  (Pro#, shipment traceability, record keeping)

 

 

Essential Functions:

 

?  Generate, prepare and distribute paperwork. (Packing list, Order picking program, work schedules,

?  Selecting and prioritizing orders that must be allocated and processed

?  Review and manage all assigned accounts to ensure that the product ships in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner.

?  Reviewing problem orders that must be processed.

?  Submitting requests for any missing items to the appropriate parties

?  Submitting information regarding problem orders to the DC Manager to assist in decision making

?  Document any changes in procedures.

?  Keep track of all supporting information and directly follow through to service issues.

?  Coordinate and take responsibility for multiple projects.

?  Input data correctly into computer system for extended periods.

?  Use independent judgment and be self-motivated.

?  Maintain Daily / weekly Distribution  Reports.
