Outside Sales - Company car

Due to continued growth and expansion, client company has an immediate need for an experienced outside Sales Professional.  Requires 5-10+ years experience in outside sales, with a Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering helpful.  Position located in Northern Illinois.

 

The successful Sales person will have a background in:

 

- Experience in the metals industry of the thin gauge type (.005 to .001) helpful, as the company manufactures industrial and consumer products that use this metal (used for security systems, generators, power tools, etc)

 

- The ability to sell to all levels of management by using a consultative approach to meet customers' expectations.  Ability to develp key business relationships that creat repeat business.

 

- Develops and executes sales plans on a regional level that create new and ongoing business.  Develop weekly and monthly goals that create results.

 

- Responsible for establishing and achieving sales quotas and goals for accounts and target clients, in order to meet company sales forecasts.

 

- Determines, recommends, and initiates appropriate product mix, promotions, and services for accounts served.

 

- Establishes relationships with key decision makers to obtain current information on market trends and business opportunities to capitalize on them. 

 

- Ability to manage a variety of accounts in a manufacturing sales setting. 

Clear focus and drive for developing strategic accounts, aggressively growing sales, and improving volume and profit margins by leveraging their Business Units' capabilities to meet or exceed customer expectations.

 

- This is not an entry level position and the salary will reflect this.  Compensation depends on experience level and ability to get results.  Candidates do not have to live in the immediate area (N Illinois) as this position requires travel to Illinois, Wisconsin, etc. 

 

- Competitive base pay and bonus plan.  Benefits include company car, health, dental, vacation, 401k plan, etc.  Reports to a General Manager (GM) who lets you run your own show.
