QA Analyst

Vaco Technology in Nashville, TN has immediate openings for 2 (TWO) Quality Assurance Testers. Both openings are contract wtih an option to either extend or hire on permamently.

Responsibilities:

* Work with internal and external customers to develop test requirements
* Define scope of testing to
* Develop test approach, test plan and test scripts to measure defined requirements
* Develop and execute test cases
* Create summary documentation of both individual tests as well as summary documentation of test results
* Use defined tools to report and track issues identified to resolution
* Develop new tools to improve the efficiency of current processes or add additional utility to the team
* Work with local and remote teams to execute tests
* Test Traceability Matrix (tracing the test-procedures to the test requirements)


Job Requirements:
Requires formal training in quality assurance and experience in quality control and quality assurance; in-depth knowledge of quality assurance in process design; demonstrated knowledge of software quality assurance standards/methodology and programming languages; in-depth knowledge of the functional requirements of quality control including inspection techniques, process measurement, and representa-tion/interpretation of process measurement data; under-standing of performance measurement hierarchies to monitor daily system operations with emphasis on early problem identification/ intervention; forecasting models/methods; ability to create/implement tripwire levels to inform project management of potential problems; review system performance reports ensuring accuracy and timeliness; assess require-ments/procedure changes to determine how these changes will impact system operations; investigate and recommend solutions to production issues and customer complaints, following formal problem tracking procedures.
