Quantitative Statistician

Founded in 1906, American Greetings is the world`s largest
publicly owned creator, manufacturer and distributor of social
expression products. In the United States, our greetings cards
are marketed under the names American Greetings, Carlton Cards and
Gibson. Other domestic products include DesignWare party goods,
GuildHouse candles, and Learning Horizons educational products.

The person in this role develops and applies merchant analytic reporting and analysis using quantitative techniques and computer programming. This position supports and consults with Everyday Card Product Management to meet their analytic and information needs. It determines the type of quantitative techniques and reporting required to address business needs enhancing the decision making process. This position also communicates results and recommendations to various levels of management using published reports and presentations. Computer skills required: Knowledge in the use of database query languages, SAS, advanced Excel, and Access.

The successful candidate will have up to 5 years in developing and applying quantitative and programming techniques. In addition, this person will have a Masters degree in Business Admin., or Quantitative Analysis field, and a Bachelors degree in Statistics, or related Quantitative field.
