Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Vision Fire and Security is an Australian headquartered company recognized by its Fortune 500 customers as a global leader in developing and supplying high technology products. We design and manufacture video surveillance products and ultra high sensitivity smoke detection products under the brand names Adpro and Vesda.

 

We currently have a position available for a Regional Sales Manager to support the Northeast Region supporting New York, New Jersey, North Connecticut, and East to Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine. The RSM focuses on identification of VESDA sales opportunities in a given geographical territory.  The RSM will liaise with the National Sales Manager to ensure that the sales opportunities generated by the Business Development Team are converted.  The RSM will develop the consultant/End-User network to ensure Vision System?s product(s) are specified for given projects. 

 

Responsibilities include:Meeting sales revenue target of  per monthly and annual budgets Increase sales through development of new and existing routes to market Ensure that all major accounts, system integrators, consultants and channel partners within the region have a current and updated knowledge of all products Develop and maintain relationship with key industry influencers Push performance based design solutions to the general market Develop relationship with Tech support person to investigate up sell opportunities Identify Xenon sites that can be up sold to LaserPLUS Provide market feedback and input into product development Ensure training levels of distributors and customers is sufficient to achieve sales budgets Direct efforts to open new markets and expand existing markets Manage territory distribution including OEM?s Manage customer accounts within territory

 

To qualify for this challenging opportunity you must possess:Technically competent Sound understanding of the fire market Sound understanding of performance based design principles Strong presentation skills Ability to negotiate and present strategic proposals Ability to identify opportunity and close deals Ability to manage others Ability to travel Contract negotiation An initiator of projects and opportunities
