Sales Manager for Food Manufacturing Company

DO YOU HAVE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE?

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative professional for the position of Business Development Sales Manager.  Qualified candidates will have experience selling to the following market segments, c-stores, retail, vending, specialty retailers and institutional food service.

Responsibilities: 

Building business by identifying and selling prospects and maintaining relationships with new and existing major chain accounts in various segments of the retail and food service industry. Building market position by locating, developing, and defining, negotiating and closing business relationships.

Duties:

?Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions;

? Responsible for current customers and new customers with ability to drive new business;

? Maintains relationships with major accounts by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements;

? Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options;

? Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and the customers? needs.

 Qualifications: 
Minimum 5 years selling experience in consumer packaged goods preferably food products to chain, specialty retail and distributor headquarter accounts;
College degree, preferred;
Classic business development experience;
Wide regional exposure preferred;
Presentation skills;
Excellent communicator;

Client relationships;
