The Senior Key Account Manager is primarily responsible for developing a business relationship with assigned accounts and for providing these accounts with information about selling, profitability and placement of our client?s products. Key Account Managers advise accounts on their use of our client?s particular category (food product) as part of their overall strategy. Accounts can include grocery, club, drug, convenience or mass merchandise chain headquarters.
The goal of the Senior Key Account Manager is to increase the promotional activity, sales volume and profitability of these accounts. The role requires solid communication, marketing and analytical skills. Strong performers will be rewarded with promotional opportunities. Current relationship with HQ Buyers is a big plus.
Requirements:
Minimum Job Requirements include a Bachelors Degree; 3+ years sales at the Key Account or HQ level (minimum 6 years outside sales minimum) and/or management experience, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry; a working knowledge of category management and DSD operations; demonstrated people and leadership skills with track record of increasing responsibility and achieving positive business results along with highly effective facilitation, presentation and other communication skills.
Compensation:
Base salary is based on experience in approximate range is $90K to $100K plus a realistic average bonus of 20-25% or more, fully paid company car, stock grants, 401K, paid vacation, outstanding medical, dental, vision +++
