Senior Manger of Human Resources

Our client, a global leader in the consumer products world, seeks a Senior Manager of Human Resources. The Senior Manager is a key member of the leadership team and will be expected to be the thought leader in human resources initiatives for the business. Specifically, the Senior Manager will be responsible for providing the day-to-day direction and leadership for the people assets of the organization. Within this organization, leadership strongly believes that the right people programs, strategies and initiatives will make a significant difference in the success of their business and this individual will be key in building and leading a team of HR professionals tasked with delivering results in this area of the business. Specifically, the Senior Manager of Human Resources will be responsible for the following:
? Building and leading a team of highly effective HR professionals to be counsel, confidant, sounding board and "HR business partner" for the regional leadership teams on people issues & total HR strategy for the operations.
? Lead the organization in ensuring alignment of HR initiatives to drive productivity and profit initiatives.
? Ensure the filed organization is well poised to leads talent management and annual people planning processes to identify high potential talent, retention strategies, succession planning, etc.
? Ensure progressive leadership in the organization?s diversity & inclusion initiatives.
? Lead the HR organization in ?making a difference?, ?impacting the success of the business?, and supporting the organization?s mission to have a significant competitive advantage because of their people, practices and HR strategies.
? This is a high impact role and requires the ability to influence across the organization, identify high-payoff, big bet change opportunities that will drive and improve productivity, drive significant change and transformation at the leadership-level and the workforce-level and execute HR strategy/tactics that align with the business strategy.

The successful candidate will have 7 years plus of progressive human resources experience with organizations known for growth, operational excellence and charting new directions in their industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record successfully leading a human resources function and developing innovative programs that add significant value to the organization, not just maintaining administrative status quo. The Senior Manager of Human Resources will have a substantiated reputation among former peers, leaders and subordinates as a leader of people, a teacher for the organization, a highly effective coach and one who has made a difference. The ideal candidate will have experience building talent through effective management development programs, succession planning programs and successful hiring programs. Lastly, the Senior Manager of Human Resources will have a proven track record of making a difference, setting trends and making the organizations where he/she has worked, better business environments with better business results because of their direct day-to-day involvement in leading the people assets of the organization.
