Senior Tax Analyst

publicly owned creator, manufacturer and distributor of social
expression products. In the United States, our greetings cards
are marketed under the names American Greetings, Carlton Cards and
Gibson. Other domestic products include DesignWare party goods,
GuildHouse candles, and Learning Horizons educational products.

The person in this role is responsible for researching and analyzing complex tax issues related to income tax return preparation, audits and operational issues. Responsible for maintaining deferred income tax accounting and year-end tax provision work. Responsible for interpreting new tax legislation and identifying tax planning opportunities for the Company.

The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of tax experience with "Big 4" public accounting or industry equivalent in a tax department with experience dealing with federal and international tax compliance, federal and international tax balance sheet accounting and experience with federal and international taxing authority examinations.

In addition a Bachelor's Degree is required as well as a CPA. A Masters Degree or Juris Doctorate recommended but not required.
