2nd Shift Customer Service

Job Summary The data entry specialist is responsible for delighting our customers with an unparalleled experience and will play a key role in providing them with 100% accuracy and efficiency, so they are thrilled to do business with us.? this role is responsible for processing orders (by telephone, fax and e-mail), requests for orders, lead times and freight requests from customers.? This position will write orders, relay pertinent order information to customers and coordinate with other departments.

Primary Duties

-Receive and process all orders (survey, machine control, GSA, construction instrument) via phone, fax, email and Internet.

- Input Independent Distributors orders into computer system, ensuring accurate data entry of all product codes and quantities.

- Ensure that Management is kept abreast of any problems relating to orders so that good customer relations will be maintained.

- Notify Independent Distributors about orders that are not in inventory or changed part numbers.

- Quote price, delivery and timeframes: provide baseline technical information for product lines.

Interfaces with internal and external customers, international order administration, and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipment.
