JOB SUMMARY

This position supports Consumer & Office Products accounts through various order management activities.

 

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:

- Provide timely and accurate order entry/maintenance/tracking, backorder management, EDI processing, returns processing, deductions, and customer inquiry assistance.

- Respond to cross-functional inquiries, allocation management, availability tracking, internal and external complaint management while providing world-class customer service. 

- Attend customer pre- and post-event planning meetings.

- Assist with direct import activities as needed. Manage the day to day responsibilities for these purchase orders from quoting to order receipt to payment resolution. 

- Reduce number of internal breakdowns that impact the order to cash process. 

- Identify external issues that impede our ability to excel at demand management. 

- Proactively notify customers of issues negatively impacting service levels.

- Prepare, analyze and communicate scheduled and ad-hoc customer specific reports.  Create monthly status reports, sales reports, tracking reports, lost sales reporting. 

- Perform detailed analysis of reports and determines root causes of problems and recommendations to improve customer service metrics and/or increase efficiencies.  When appropriate, assist in implementing these recommendations.

- Develop standards and processes for day to day tasks and reporting.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor?s degree in business or equivalent experience preferred.

- 3-5 years experience customer service and/or logistics management.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize a demanding workload.

- Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

- High degree of attention to detail. 

- Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization and in various functional areas.

- Approximately 5% travel.
