Job Title:  Account Manager

 

Position Description:

 

The Account Manager is responsible for retaining and growing revenues within a portfolio of assigned AT&T small to medium-sized business customers.

 

The Account Manager will be assigned a group of 800-900 business accounts with the expectation that he/she will retain and grow the business to meet objectives. The Account Manager is responsible for selling voice, data, value plans, Internet, T1, and VoIP services to their assigned accounts.

 

Responsibilities:

 

?  Calls into existing account base and touches all customers at least once per quarter.  Develop and execute strategy to position AT&T California as the provider of choice

 

?  Sells assigned products, solutions and services to existing customer base through reviewing accounts and providing value through presentation of offers, while earning the customer?s respect as their Account Manager

 

?  Develops and applies knowledge of the customer?s business initiatives in order to architect innovative solutions to address customer needs while maintaining and growing AT&T revenue

 

?  Seeks to obtain, increase and maintain revenue streams for the company

 

?  Ensures customer satisfaction is maintained at a high level measured by outside customer satisfaction surveys

 

?  Overall monthly quota attainment of 90%, to include key performance indicators, attendance and quality

 

Qualifications:

 2+ years of successful telecommunication sales experience1-3 years B2B sales/account management experience Strong working knowledge of voice & data (DIA, DSL, DS3), Frame RelayExcellent communication, organization, sales negotiation and problem solving skills requiredStrong computer skills (Microsoft Office)

 

Skills must also include:  strong interpersonal skills, strategic selling, negotiation & closing techniques, technical assessment, communication, project management, multi-tasking leadership, presentation skills, and proposal writing.

 

Compensation:

 Base plus commission of $38,000 - $40,000 at targetAdditional contests and sales spiffs each monthNo cap on commissions or spiffs!
