Admission Coordinator

Admission Coordinator   Spherion Corporation , one of the largest employers in the United States is currently seeking talented Admission Coordinators in Des Plaines, IL. In this role you will be supporting our client a Major Prescription Pharmaceutical Company as an Admission Coordinator. This role is very important to our Client, as you are the person who is in direct contact with their customers. Professional and thorough handling of customer concerns is their goal. Position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for doing a detailed benefits and eligibility verification of the insurance benefits of new and existing patients referred. You will be responsible for validating the demographic and reimbursement information on all patients into a database prior to the initiation of therapy. You will adjudicate POS/Retail billings, relate financial obligations to the patient, and identify to the organization when a new patient is brought on service.  Outstanding Customer Service is essential.  For Admissions Coordinators, the goal is to put closure to any customer situation within 48 hours, and the commitment is to communicate the status every 72 hours.

You must be detail-oriented and be able to multi-task.
must have strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Reimbursement, health care or medical insurance claims experience is a must
Must be self motivated, reliable, and flexible
Excellent time management and problem solving skills
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment

 

This is a contract position

This position will start in August and go through March/April 2007. Extended contracts are possible for performers.

 

Available Shifts: 8a-5p; 9a-6p; 10a-7p; 11a-8p

All effort will be made to accommodate your shift preference.
