Bankruptcy Specialist

Job Description: Assist in special projects, which requires an understanding the bankruptcy servicing process, knowledge of systems platform and interfaces to assist with proposed enhancements and testing. Review and monitor reporting to support departmental needs and provide recommendations to develop a multi-vendor tracking environment. This position requires flexibility as projects may vary to include, reviewing accounts in work queues, working internal or vendor reports, conducting research, managing project logs, attending conference calls or meetings concerning projects. Strong communication skills are necessary to ensure BK Operations and management is constantly informed of developments. Efficient in validating data and interpreting notes on the system. Initiate necessary actions to assist in managing bankruptcy accounts. Provides support as a team player to ensure completion of departments daily responsibilities.

Job Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent

Basic understanding of bankruptcy laws and regulations

Ability to perform moderate to complex tasks involving the Debt Manager system

Understanding of reporting, while attentive to details

Extensive knowledge in utilizing MS Office for reporting, monitoring and tracking purposes

Ability to utilize a personal computer and software applications

Experience using general office equipment
