Business Analyst [CRC-Cargo Claims]

We currently have a Business Analyst position open. This professional will develop and implement business process improvements with the primary objective of reducing cost and increasing efficiency, establish programs, metrics and standards utilizing Six Sigma or similar methodologies. Recommend process design changes, identify opportunities to improve existing procedures and related tools to meet the requirements of an evolving workflow process, and lead multi-functional teams to implement process improvement initiatives.

This person will be responsible for assisting in the development of systematic approaches for assuring high quality services. Make and implement recommendations for improved productivity, efficiency, accuracy, cost savings, safety, compliance, standardization, and revenue production procedures for a specific department by researching, reviewing, analyzing, and understanding business processes and translating that into business solutions. Perform data analysis to determine current performance, forecast and trend future performance to recommend improvements and/or corrective actions. Develop reports to detail the approval, implementation, and maintenance of all process improvement project plans. Build and maintain databases and work with Information Systems group to ensure system stability.

Successful candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Business and/or equivalent experience. Experience in customer/end-user project liaison, high expertise levels with spreadsheet and database applications, excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as experience with preparing and presenting in front of large groups.
