CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Summary Description:

Excellent entry level career opportunity for anyone interested in pursing a career in Financial Services. The Client Service Representative provides shareholders and brokers with high caliber customer service in response to inquiries about Putnams products and services. In this role, the CSR will apply industry knowledge to respond to shareholder and broker inquiries related to individual accounts, mutual funds, and markets as well as resolve operational issues.
Specific Responsibilities include:

1. Provide service and support to Putnams shareholders, brokers and financial advisors
- Receive inbound phone requests and respond to client needs
- Respond to request through account set up, account correction, request processing and problem resolution

2. Provide product information and legal requirement
- Build and maintain knowledge of Putnam products, services and procedural requirements
- Assist in explaining procedures
- Conduct follow through on requests

3. Special Projects
- Participate in new hire training and specific product and system training as needed.
- Collaborate with internal resources to best service clients and meet quality standards

Candidate requirements:
1. Bachelors degree
2. Solid understanding client service and ability to listen and empathize
3. Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to work within time constraints is critical.
4. Strong PC skills
5. Strong Customer service skills
6. Minimum two (2) years experience working with clients
