CUSTOMER SERVICE - CALL CENTER

JOB TITLE:   Associate Customer Service Representative?Cardholder Support Services

 

JOB FUNCTION: Serve as an Associate Customer Service Representative for the Cardholder Support Services department.  Responsibilities include placing outbound calls, taking inbound calls, and analyzing debit and credit card transactions in order to identify potential fraudulent activity via the  Fraud Detection application. 

     

REPORTS TO:    Supervisor ? Cardholder Support Services

 

DEPARTMENT:    Client Services

 

QUALIFICATIONS   

EDUCATION & 

JOB EXPERIENCE: 

? Associate degree or equivalent work experience

? Minimum 6 months experience in a customer service or call center environment

? General understanding of the EFT bank card industry

? PC skills including Microsoft Office

? Strong verbal and written communications skills

? Demonstrated follow up skills

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

? Review electronic cases produced by the  Fraud Detection system

? Analyze transaction patterns and react quickly to high-risk situations

? Verify account activity and take appropriate action to minimize potential fraud loss and customer inconvenience

? Document cases to show actions taken

? Adhere to established CSS procedures and guidelines while providing quality customer service in order to meet and exceed department standards

? Perform additional duties as requested by management

? Answer inbound customer and cardholder inquiries pertaining to accounts

? Resolve any issues the customers and cardholders may have with the web applications.

           

TIME REQUIREMENTS:

? Must be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
