CUSTOMER SERVICE--DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITIES WITH CIGNA

Spherion in partnership with CIGNA, is in search of the best and brightest, experienced talent, to join the CIGNA Healthcare Team!!  Currently we are accepting resumes for Customer Service Associates.  These positions are DIRECT HIRE opportunities with CIGNA which means you will be a CIGNA employee from day one!

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 
Receives requests by mail, telephone or in person regarding insurance claims/policies
Responds to inquiries from policy holders, providers, and/or others for information or assistance
Performs research to respond to inquiries and interprets policy provisions to determine the most effective response
Mails or routes claim forms and supporting documentation to various units for final processing
Position typically requires excellent interpersonal skills, ability to understand and interpret policy provisions
Under direct supervision, responds to inquiries, grievances, complaints, or appeals
Responsible for learning plan policies and organizational procedures

 

Minimum Qualifications

 
Demonstrated experience providing high quality customer service in a fast paced environment 
Two years of previous customer service experience is required
Proficiency in using multiple systems simultaneously as well as a complete understanding of Microsoft Office
Demonstrated experience assisting customers on a product that has a high degree of complexity
High School diploma required, some college course work preferred
