CUSTOMER SERVICE/MAIL CENTER/SHIPPING AND RECEIVING SPECIALIST

LOCATION:  ATLANTA, GA (PACES FERRY RD, VININGS AREA)

 



IKON currently has an opening for a Customer Service /Mail Center/Shipping and Receiving Specialist to work at a customer site in Vinings, GA.  This position will be responsible for mail center and shipping/receiving services.  Will also be responsible for answering phones and providing world class customer service.

 

POSITION PROFILE:
Provides operations functions in one or all of the following areas: ships and receives product and supplies, sorts, distributes and handles incoming and outgoing mail 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide outstanding customer service via the phone and in person
Pick-up, sort and deliver incoming and outgoing mail
Distributes office supplies, fax transmissions and mail to company personnel and/or designated drop-off points as required.
May travel between customer's buildings.
Performs duties related to the shipping and receiving of materials.
Pack and prepare boxes for shipping
Operate postage meter machine
Maintain accurate records and logs in an organized manner
Performs other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)
Requires high school diploma or GED and1-2 years of related work experience.



Other Requirements include:

? The ability to lift up to 75lbs - heavy lifting may be required.

? The ability to stand/walk for long periods of time

? Computer knowledge is preferred

? Prior mail experience is preferred

? Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

? Experience in dealing with highly stressful situations

 

The ideal candidate will possess prior customer service experience and an excellent work history.  Ability to multitask and take initiative is a plus.  Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
