CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR - MARSHFIELD, MA
ABB Optical is a national distributor of ophthalmic products and we focus on being the supplier of choice in soft and gas permeable contact lens, ophthalmic lens and accessories.
We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Customer Service Supervisor in our Marshfield, Massachusetts location. Core hours for this position are 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
The primary focus of this position is to provide a high level of service to our customers by overseeing the day-to-day activities of the call center environment including scheduling, communication and support for our agents and our customers.
To qualify, you must have:?Strong written and verbal communication skillsComputer expertise, including Word and ExcelLeadership capabilities High School diploma or equivalentMinimum of one year as a Lead or Supervisor in a call center environment
This position will report to the Customer Service Manager and the following are the primary (but not limited to) responsibilities:Maintain and support relationships with customersResolve non-routine customer complaints and recommend corrective actionsAssist with projects assigned to the department, conduct staff meetings and define goals for the departmentOversee CSRs workload and professionalism by monitoring inbound calls for conformity to departmental policy Manage schedules of representatives, making adjustments as needed to maintain adequate coverage Assist in coaching and counseling of employees according to company standards; assist in the performance, development and appraisals of representativesImplement progressive disciplinary processes and actions, if and when neededMaintain harmony among staff and resolve grievances; inform Manager or Director when concerns arise Assist with inbound calls and faxes, when necessary, to maintain efficient workflow
