We have an excellent career opportunity for Emergency Dispatch Operators in the Central Station Department. Dispatchers work in a call center environment using a computer terminal and telephone to monitor and respond to incoming alarm signals.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Contacts the premises to verify alarm signals / Dispatches alarms to police/fire/medical authorities Reports alarm activity to subscriber?s emergency contacts / Logs all calls updates automated system Notifies alarm dealer of false alarms / Completes daily reports and forms Interprets coded alarm signals received by telephone line from subscribers? alarm panels that indicate opening/closing of protected premises, unlawful intrusion, fire, panic, etc 

 

Experience & Qualifications Required:1 year call center experience 1 year customer service/alarm industry background Keyboard proficiency Strong communication skills Pass background check to meet licensing requirements Pass drug test Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required 

 

Compensation:
