Call Center Rep--Bilingual English-Vietnamese - #CCR-V0806M

We?re looking for an outgoing, customer service-oriented person to support our Call Center. Santa Clara Family Health Plan is a public, not-for-profit plan that provides comprehensive, affordable health coverage to low- and moderate-income people in Santa Clara County, who otherwise would not be able to obtain health coverage for themselves or their families.  EOE

 

Under direct supervision, initiate outbound calls to and receive inquiries from new or prospective members and member representatives for Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, and Healthy Kids insurance programs:
Handle Welcome Calls, Retention Calls, Member Orientation, Initial Health Assessments, Immunization Reminders, Member Satisfaction Surveys, and General Information Updates; Respond to member questions, concerns, and requests competently and in a timely and respectful manner;Perform member outreach activities, promote Member Rights and Responsibilities, and cultivate positive and productive relationships with members, providers, and SCFHP staff and maintain retention;Utilize database to document and code all Call Center activities regarding all of the above and maintain accurate, easily retrievable, member contact files.

 

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalentFully bilingual in English and VietnameseAble to express oneself clearly and effectively in a professional mannerType 45 wpm and be computer literateCall Center or heavy business phone experience a plusAble to work every other Saturday morning and up to 7 PM weeknights
