Job Purpose Statement:

 

This position is responsible for collecting mortgage payments on loans that are 1 - 59 days delinquent.  The position also works with homeowners to resolve any issues or concerns they have with first call resolutions.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

 

? Resolve customer issues with first-call resolution whenever feasible

? Collect mortgage payments, outstanding fees, and corporate advances

? Identify the customer?s reason for default, establishes promise to pay, and documents the servicing system with detailed comments

? Forward research items via CIT?s to appropriate departments

? Identify permanent hardship accounts and timely refers to the Loss Mitigation Department

? Maintain the call center work queue for target dates and goals

? Identify potential problems and timely communications to management

? Additional responsibilities as required by management

 

The qualified candidate will meet or exceed the following requirements:

 

? High school diploma or equivalent

? Customer profiling with the use of company approved repayment plans

? Six months tenure or one-year minimum of mortgage servicing or collections experience 

? Call Center environment preferred

? Mortgage industry preferred

? Collections experience a plus

? Knowledge of Escrow processes and Third Party servicing policies

? Must be proficient with MS Office products
