Call Center Representative (Part Time)
Join CompBenefits! We are the leading provider of dental and vision benefit plans. We are currently seeking Member Services Representatives for our office in Atlanta, GA. We are a Monday - Friday call center. We are looking for individuals to work PART TIME between the hours of 9:30am - 4:00pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Communicates accurate benefit information and provides assistance to Subscribers, Providers, and Corporate staff.
2. Demonstrates the necessary technical knowledge and skills with respect to plans, benefits, departmental policies and procedures, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Ability to navigate through CBIS and Intranet with speed and accuracy in order to service customers efficiently.
3. Demonstrates high quality customer service when servicing subscribers, groups, providers and all CompBenefits employees.
4. Documents all calls/inquiries with pertinent information in the system.
5. Ensures various policies and procedures are followed as it relates to facility transfers, HIPAA, Grievances, Eligibility, Verification, Emergencies, Non-Panel and other Member Services Department policies and procedures.
6. Negotiates settlements of disputes between members, participating dentists and CompBenefits up to $100 in value.
7. Process requests for the mailing/faxing/emailing of benefit schedules, provider directories, claim forms, ID cards etc
8. Maintains updated reference materials such as benefit schedules, provider directories and other pertinent materials in order to provide accurate information to customers.
9. Reads and utilizes email or paper notifications daily in order to stay abreast of updated information as well as to communicate business issues whenever appropriate.
10. Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
High School diploma with a minimum of 1 year of Call Center experience.
Knowledge of Business
For Dental: Dental Terminology, Managed care, Hybrids, Indemnity, Benefit terms, Exceptions
For Vision: Vision Terminology, Vision Care Plan, Lasik, Benefit terms, Exceptions
Experience/Skills :
1. Minimum of 1 year Call Center experience with preferably one year in the Dental, Vision and/or Medical field.
2. Bilingual is preferred.
3. Must have the ability to analyze problematic situations and apply policies and procedures.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills
5. Must have the ability to work in a high stress environment.
6. Must have the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Must be able to work effectively and harmoniously with others while maintaining standards.
