Job Description: Responsible for handling loan transactions of all degrees of difficulty (ex: special handling-lease-hold property) after initial credit approval to final funding of the loan/line. Duties include; ordering title, appraisal and other required documents required for loan funding; reviewing and verifying documents, negotiating with customer to overcome processing issues or objections with rate, terms or conditions of the approval; up-sells credit commitments within product guidelines. Maintains communication on application status with applicant and originating banker. Partners closely with other team members (including branch bankers) in the processing, closing and credit underwriting areas. Resolves issues relating to stipulated documentation, collateral, title, appraised value, lien position and insurance. Analyzes files to identify and recommend policy waivers to team leads. Has authority to negotiate amount term or rate under $250K loan size consistent with underwriting policy. May mentor and train new team members.


Minimum Qualifications: 3-5 years Home Equity or Mortgage experience


Preferred Skills: Experience working in a high volume loan processing center, receiving a high number of incoming calls and making numerous outbound calls to customers and vendors.
Experience using MS Office XP Products, Outlook especially.
Experience navigating through the internet (used for various vendors).
ACAPS/Hogan experience highly desired.
Proficient at typing. and using multi line phones
