Primary responsibilities include:

 
Ensuring accurate payment of claims based on policy, procedures, and CPT codes.
Researching and adjusting internal and external payment discrepancies.
Researching claim edits to verify appropriate benefit application.
Meeting productivity goals, quality standards, and timeframes.
Working on special projects as assigned.



Qualifications:
Prior experience working with medical codes is required, as is experience in medical insurance.
A data entry background is essential.
MS Office skills are a must.
Candidates should be detail-oriented.
