Client Relationship & Marketing Manager-Private Equity/Real Estate

The PrivateEdge Group is a service provider to large complex institutional clients investing in private equity & real estate, which specializes in providing detailed performance measurement calculation and evaluation, portfolio and investment analysis and monitoring, and private market investment consulting services. The individual in this position will have two primary responsibilities: i) the primary contact for all marketing initiatives, and ii) assist in the management of large complex institutional clients investing in private equity & real estate.

This position will involve a significant portion of time spent managing the marketing process to prospective clients for the PrivateEdge services, which include the following:
?Maintaining an active pipeline of prospective clients
?Responding to RFPs, this includes response to questions describing our services and associated fees.
?Preparing and modifying marketing literature.
?Marketing presentations to prospective clients, which will include travel.
?Negotiations on fees and contracts.

This individual will also be a Consultant & Client Relationship Manager for a few of our clients. This position includes monitoring service levels and client deliverables & commitments along with the following:
?Client service/satisfaction - directly manage individual client relations
?Know client's portfolio, allocations, Investment Policy Statement and results
?Consult to client on portfolio results, market environment, stay one step ahead of the client at all times - proactively directing ad hoc requests
?Manage product/client profitability and growth
?Final decision on all client consulting including portfolio evaluations
?Final report review and sign off, particularly with the reporting of performance return calculation and analysis.
?Participate in the Investment Monitoring process, which is the ongoing due diligence on the clients' current portfolio, such as discussions with GPs and write-up on investment activity.

This department is quickly growing in the number of clients/services and therefore must be able to adapt to changes. Possess an advanced knowledge of private equity and/or real estate investments, and knowledge of various investment return methodologies in these asset classes, as well as portfolio management reporting. BSBA with a concentration in accounting or finance, minimum of 10 years experience, 3 year of which are in alternative investments, plus experience in marketing. CFA, CPA or MBA a plus. Strong accounting/finance skills, client service and management skills, demonstrated analytical and communication skills, ability to multi task & manage conflicting priorities. The successful candidate must be proactive, client-service oriented, possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude, and be very mature.
