Collections /Skip Trace Professional

Inofin Incorporated, an emerging leader in the sub-prime auto lending industry, seeks an experienced Collections/Skip Trace Professional. Said individual, under general supervision, will provide assistance in resolving difficult or unusual collection cases by insisting on immediate payment or advising customers of alternative solutions for meeting their obligations, as per company policy.

 

Description:

  1. Responsible for gathering and recording limited information from customers pertaining to financial analysis of their income, monthly obligations, dependants, and any other information which would enable collections to make necessary decisions to help cure the delinquency.

  2. Research credit bureau and other reports as necessary to support collection efforts.

  3. Perform thorough Skip Trace activity to locate customers and / or vehicles.

  4. Record all collection efforts and activity via the collections system.

  5. Identify and recommend legal actions to Management.

  6. Additional tasks as assigned by Management. 

 

 

Requirements:

High School diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and five years of experience, including two years of experience in collection Skip Trace.

Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, co-workers and management.

Thorough knowledge of collection processes and procedures and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
