Collections Specialist/ Accounts Receivables - Phone Collections

Job Description:
Uses effective collection techniques in maintaining an acceptable turnover of Accounts Receivable. Systematically follows-up accounts and notates results to ensure maximum benefit from collection activities.

Responsibilities: Minimum 80 quality calls per day. Interface with all divisions necessary to resolve customer issue/concerns to guarantee expeditious payment. Document in customer notepad each and every response and action taken regarding the customer. Request credit/debit memos when necessary. Prepare collection correspondence and collection reports. Support Supervisor with developing collection strategies. Perform detailed follow up with customers as required.

 



Requirements:
Minimum 2 years phone collection experience preferred. Ability to reconcile accounts with proficiency in problem identification, evaluation, and resolution. Strong customer service and retention skills required. Strong computer skills, including word processing skills sufficient to carry out vital department functions. Ability to communicate effectively and interact with all divisions. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of A/R system functions. Excellent organizational ability. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Bacherlor?s Degree or equivalent work experience.
