De Lage Landen, a fully owned subsidiary of the Rabobank Group, is an international provider of high-quality, asset-based products that provide leasing and financial solutions to business partners throughout the Americas and Europe.  We have an immediate opening for a Collections Supervisor in our home office located in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

 POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Collections Supervisor supervises a team of 10-13 people dedicated to a specified portfolio as well as manages an individual portfolio, ensuring overall team delinquency within DLL budget requirements. Responsibilities include calling on delinquent accounts, generating letters, responding to inquiries, maintaining accurate documentation, handling rewrites, MJs and special invoicing requests. The incumbent is also responsible for the team?s performance management and development, reporting and representing the team to management and assisting the Director, Collections in the hiring of team members.

Responsibilities

? Responsible for lowering delinquencies to meet goals.

? Call on delinquent accounts (primarily middle ticket).

? Respond to incoming calls and written correspondence.

? Negotiate satisfactory payment plans.

? Generate form and non-form letters.

? Maintain records of all accounts in the CTV system

? Identify and correct misapplied cash applications

? Maintain non-financial lease information

? Submit repossession requests, as appropriate.

? Supervises a group of collectors on a specified portfolio.

? Assists the Director in the hiring, and training of collectors within the team

? Manage Performance Management for the team.? Lead the team in maintaining overall delinquency within DLL budget requirements

? As required, represent the team in meetings

? Handle special projects as delegated by the Director. Customer Service

? Identify opportunities for organizational/process improvements and support organizational knowledge sharing.

Portfolio Management
Partner with SBU Risk Manager to develop strategies to control risk costs.
Identify SBU Portfolio Issues in conjunction with SBU Risk Manager and produce SBU Portfolio ?Key Issues? work plan
Develop/Maintain clear communication channels between SBU and Collections
Maintain accurate records on all accounts.
Negotiate satisfactory repayment plans.

Unit Administration
Work with SBU GM and VPs to establish collection strategies.
Facilitate weekly meeting with SBU Risk Manager to identify /update portfolio ?Key Issues? work plan and produce Portfolio ?Key Issues? report weekly
Achieve team delinquency, late charge and write-off goals. QUALIFICATIONS

At least 5 years of supervisory experience required

Bachelor Degree preferred

Experience in the Leasing Industry preferred
