Collector

Job Purpose:

Collecting delinquent accounts and to educate the borrowers about options.



Duties:

 

* Abide by Federal and State laws, rules and regulations

 

* Politely and professionally communicate effectively with co-workers and the management staff  at all times

 

* Handle argumentative and tense situations with borrowers, Attorneys or other third parties with the best interest of the company and client you represent.

 

*  Assess the financial situation of a borrower in order to counsel and properly negotiate the highest collections.

 

* Collects delinquent accounts by locating and contacting borrowers; establishing repayment terms and schedules.

 

* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.


* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.



* Enhances collection and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
